As an owner of an SBS-1 for 2 and a half years, Kinetic NEVER produced their promised MapModeS Network and that really does disappoint me!

what does this mean then...?

Hi Theo, great button, but does it do anything?   Also on that screenshot, I just love the way RYR2373 is overlapped with another, so that you can't read either!!!
ANRB :  AOR AR8000 : Icom R-7000 : Icom IC-R9000 : JRC NRD-545 : OptoElectronics Digital Scout and OptoLinx Interface; Realistic Pro-2005 : UBC 800XLT - listed in alphabetical order, not cost, preference, performance or entertainment value!

Theo,

I guess that this means that you are using a private network sharing system that has been disowned by Kinetic.

Can I switch on my SBS-1 now and have access to all the other data from all other SBS-1 users?

Not to mention the great outline - I think its Norfolk.

Theo, Take a look at

And see how good it looks.

Extract from the SBS-1 Basestation manual.

As at the writing of this version of the manual, MapModeS is not currently available

And its said that since I got mine in July 2006!

We are really looking forward to Theos response to this considering his theories in posts earlier.

Theo have you shot your self in the foot again? :)

Sorry Theo, but doesn't a questionmark just mean a question.  You said "what does this mean then...?", and showed a picture with MapModeS highlighted, so all I did was reply about the real state of MapModeS.

Maybe it got lost in translation to you. What we asked simply means have you made a mistake in mentioning MapMode-S in this thread?

Regarding being annoyed, we are not annoyed at all :) You mentioned a competition product which you thought did a certain a feature and it doesn't.

It's a tick box at the bottom of the Network tab view.
