Two simple soft questions
« on: December 25, 2008, 08:00:10 PM »
Hi,

I'm a new user of ARB, so my questions may be simple. At first, is it possible to show all of recorded positions of the aircrafts on a map (some kind of a  picture of traffic) and second, is it any soft to calculate a distance of an aircraft from home location ?

Greetings

Wolf,

Welcome to the forum!

In answer to your questions (I will assume that you are using the latest version of the software - AirNav RadarBox 2009:

- You can use File > Start Recording to record all live traffic picked up by your antenna.  Use File > Play Recorded File to replay.  You can also upload the map picture to a website using FTP.  See my site here:

Is this what you mean by your question?

- RadarBox already give you the range and bearing of aircraft from home.  If you have set your home position correctly, when you move the mouse cursor over an aircraft, you can see the Dist and Brg to the right of the 2 green Hardware/Network connection indicators at the bottom of the MyFlights/Network aircraft list.

All the best
