Southern Austria
« on: August 11, 2007, 03:05:03 PM »
Hello,
here you can see southern Austria. My location is near the border to Italy and Slovenia, just southwest of the VIW VOR.

How do I generate a polar diagramm?

Best regards to all of you

Gerald

And another screenshot with the network running.
There must be somebody in lower austria with the rb on.

For the Polar diagram goto:

Menu drop down:  Map and look for Polar Diagram, click on it to display it.

For the Polar diagram goto:

Menu drop down:  Map and look for Polar Diagram, click on it to display it.

The Polar diagram is only available on the Beta release of RB.

You also have history trail lines which are much better than the flight path vectors.

Gerald,

Can you really live with those 5 minute flight path vectors ahead of the aircraft?  They make the picutre look really cluttered - you can switch them off from the File/Preferences menu.

Thank you for your reply, I´ll try to switch of the flight path vectors, when I am watching without network its not so disturbing because we dont have that much traffic in our area.

I´m still working on my antenna situation to improve my reception. Currently I have an antenna (bought it at ebay from england, an old military IFF/SSR test antenna) mounted on the attic.

@DaveG: Greetings to Cornwall, I spent my holidays there this year and last year. We stayed at Truro and made visits to gardens, to the beaches at Newquay and St. Ives and last year to the Air Day at Culdrose NAS. All the family enjoyed it very much, we love your country.

Best regards
Gerald
