I've gone green!

Although real radar displays use colour, they don't tend to use bright colours, if fact you might find it hard to believe looking at a real radar display that there is a palette of millions of colours available!  In these pictures, climbing, decsending and level traffic are all the same colour but it's still easy to see what aircraft are doing as you have the "+" and "-" and the height changes.

I also find this easier on the eye and makes following aircraft easier for me.

The second picture shows just how much more I can display on my lovely new LCD running at 1280x1024.

Here is my "green" colour display.  Copy the text into Windows Notepad and save it as Green.mcl in the /Color directory. (Make sure you don't save it as Green.mcl.txt otherwise RB won't find it).

Green will then be available in the Colors dropdown box.

Polar Diagram for this location using the standard RB Antenna on a metal base 30cm square resting on a skylight widow.  All aircraft filtered out except BAW to make it easier to see the coverage diagram.

All I can say is I wish I had a skylight!.  Does the polar diagram track the distances to all aircraft even when most filtered out or is it based on the coverage of BAA aircraft?

The polar diagram is based on all live tracks and it is the result of a couple of days on monitoring.  I just filtered out the other aircraft to make the ploar diagram easier to see when I did the screenshot.
