Something slightly wrong over Yorkshire

I have just captured American 137 enroute from London Heathrow to Los Angeles climbing at FL350. According to ANRB, the aircraft is a Cessna 172, not a Boeing 772 as I would have expected!

What was the Mode S of the aircraft.
Could be a number of things:
- Details incorrect in RB database
- Details incorrect in GAS database and therefore autopopulated incorrectly
- Mode S box in aircraft wrongly set up and therefore sending wrong code
- C172 special with extra "go" :-)

It would appear that the aircraft is N799AN B737-223ER and it is in fact sending the wrong Mode S code AAC981.
Go to
www.airframes.org
and enter the mode s code AAC981 and read the comments.
