I would like to see the conventional spotter silhouettes scaled according to the relative sizes of the aircraft.  I realize that this would make some silhouettes very small, however.  The overwhelming majority of aircraft that I see are airliners, so a few tiny GA planes are not an issue for me.

Sorry, NF2G - that's not going to happen - the Found, or the Pitts, wouldn't even show up as a single dot compared with a 747 if we did that! Even 146's and Embraers would only be a tiny smudge.

That's another reason I prefer the photo-style - no pretence of scale with them.

Note that IanK has an updated zip file of silhouettes (dated 17th March), containing 1270 silhouettes.  To use these in Radarbox you will need to resize to 68x16, using something like FastStone Resizer.

Available from http://www.sbsbst.co.uk/iank/ (select the Download ZIP File option).

Hi Jim - thanks for that - I've re-done it to the dimensions that I sneaked in for photo-silhouettes - hope you don't mnd!

The silhouettes column is wide enough for 76 pixels - I guess that the convention of 68x16 is purely so that 85x20 images (wherever they might possibly come from) would scale down correctly.
