Yes, looks like autopopulate might not be working at the moment.  I've just tried clicking on 10 aircraft in the network list that have no registrations, and all remained blank.

Or it could be the autopopulate server is under heavy-load with everyone using v2.0.

It looks great. Though we have noticed that 1.5 was much faster on our pc than 2.0. With an refreshrate of 1 second it takes approximately 4 seconds for an actual refresh on the screen. All menus are extremely slow. When updating from network server all My Flights get a white colour instead of the original red/green/blue colour.
We did a clean install of 2.0.
Some specs of our pc:

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 (2600.xpsp.080413-2111)
Language: Dutch (Regional Setting: Dutch)
System Manufacturer: n/a
System Model: n/a
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.0
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz
Memory: 1024MB RAM
Page File: 408MB used, 2053MB available
Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.5512 32bit Unicode

Any idea or solution?

Thanks in advance.

ajcbakker,

In your case its pretty simple what is happening. We have 2ghz P4 machine being tested in London with WinXP with nothing else installed and it runs under high message conditions however if you add network, uploading and other programs in background etc.. it will slow down and have trouble.

Simply because your using a lot of high end functions on a a machine which must be 5+ years old. You either have to cut back on features or get a fast machine I am afraid.

We can't produce miracles to give all the features and have it running nicely on slow machines.

Its early days yet, and fingers FIRMLY crossed, new version is operating trouble-free. It has been over a year now to finally get a stable version that does'nt keep freezing the screen.
I just downloaded the full version, rather than upgrade v1.5. It means I've got V1.3, 1.5 and 2.0 to chose from!
Good work to the upgrade team, like the new features.
Despite all the frustrations over the months, still think Radarbox has superior graphics to SBS-1. Keep up the good work.

Hi

Sorry.  Seems to be working now.  Mixture of lack of patients and virus blocking.

Hi dudbaker,
When i start the RB2009 the first time it takes very long every time  to start.
So try to wait little longer to see if it starts. (up to 3-5 minutes)

( i'm using vista dual core 2 gig)

Regards,
Etienne

Hi All,
I am not the best with the technical stuff so grateful for any help. I upgraded to the new version which looks superb. However I was not getting any flights listed in my log. I uninstalled Airnav and reinstalled it and hey presto my log is now working........but....now I am not getting anything listed in network even though active locations shows everything should be working. I have vista business installed on my pc with norton anti virus installed.

Any ideas please ?

Regards
Dorset Gooner

tigiti,

I assume you have AVG Anti Virus installed. If so do the following,  double click on the AVG icon next to clock on the right hand corner of your screen.

Go to Tools -> Advanced Settings -> Execptions (under Resident Sheild) -> Add path -> Enter your path to AirNav Systems which is usually:

C:\Program Files\AirNav Systems\

(Location may be differen if using Vista)

Then click apply and run RadarBox 2009 and tell us whether it works.

DorsetGooner,

As its a new version, you need to give firewall permissions to RadarBox 2009 so it can download the network data.

Hello Support,

Just did what you wrote, and RB startup time is ok now <60sec.

Thanks!

Yes, for Vista, you should include the virtual store at C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\AirNav Systems\
(where xxxxxxxx is you Vista account name).

Hi Support,

Am not sure what AVG anti virus is. I have Norton anti virus. I have lots of different icons but only to the left of the clock in the bottom right hand corner but none stating AVG. Can you help ?
