RadarBox 6.02.003 Non ADS-B display
« on: August 30, 2023, 06:27:03 PM »
New to Radarbox.

I see a flight listed in My Flights that is a Non ADS-B flight, but it does not display on the map directory (It was a local ANG tanker if that matters)

Does it not display on the map because it is a military flight that perhaps does not share long/lat, but will display on the list of My Flights?

Hi gilemery
ADS-B includes position data, so with no ADS-B, no position, so it can't appear on the map. Many military aircraft are fitted with ADS-B but can turn it off if they don't want to be for example, shot down.
Hope that helps

It should display on the list but not on the map as detailed by Rod.  It will usually be squitting mode-s which will let you know it is there but not where
