Empty port 7879 messages?
« on: July 02, 2008, 05:16:42 PM »
Just working my way through the manual and tried out telnet open localhost 7879 command and all I get is a screenfull of empty <MODEMESSAGE></MODEMESSAGE> tags that is no data, why would that be.
The box has been running all day and is currently showing in excess of 140 local flights in Myflights, so why am I not able to this information being output.
Is it something to do with the 5 minute delay, if so why am I not just seeing messages but with a date time stamp of 5 minutes ago....
I will leave it running in the background to see if the messages start to appear in 5 minutes time.

Did you wait 5 minutes?

The data comes out 5 minutes after you give the telnet command, not immediately with a 5 minute delayed stamp.

Try port 30003 too, there's data there too!
