Preferences - timeout of flights and other things
« on: July 11, 2007, 10:22:37 AM »
Can I suggest that we have a seconds option for the Minutes to hide a timeout flight.

I think having at the default value of 30 (?  forgotten what it was) may be increasing the chance of a problem - When I changed mine (purely on local traffic to 1 minute - the number of aircraft listed went from 67 to 25  - and all of those (bar 2 were moving) previously I had around 40 timeouts waiting to disappear!.

When the Quick Filter has been used (e.g. to select Flying over = England, there does not appear to be a way to clear the first box (flying over - or whatever is selected). Can this be changed please as I am not sue if clearing the word England from the filter actually puts it back to monitor all traffic.

Also, just a minor point - Location for EGTH (Old Warden) is I believe in the wrong position !

Hi RoadRunner,

Feature you mention has been noted. Regarding the quick filter, if you click show all that should act as like "clearing the filter".

What is the correct position for EGTH (Old Warden) so we can change it?

Thanks

According to POOLEYS flight guide the co-ordinates are
N52 05.32 W000 19.10

Those shown on your map are at N51 47.3 W000 16.7
