I am having trouble with my RB, I mistakenly have changed my proxy settings and I can no longer start my RB on my desktop. The program starts then I log in it immediately says " Invalid Proxy Definition" this comes up twice then everything stops on the sign in screen, greyed out. Windows task manager says RB is running but it doesn't show on my screen. Is there a way to reset the proxy settings without having the program running? I have uninstalled it and reinstalled the program several times, still the same, being remembered by pc somehow.
Please help.......I'm stuck

Have you tried running RB with your Internet connection switched off - that is with the Modem disconnected or switched off?

It might be that RB can see an Internet connection, then is trying to apply your proxy settings, but can't get any further.  If you try without the Internet, then RB might run to the point where you can deselect the proxy settings in Preferences?

just tried that still the same, thanks for the try though. I didn't know if I could get into the settings in the main file and alter them there? have to hope Airnav can give me some help.

AirNav Support

We have pmed you way to reset it.

A lesson to others as well, please don't play around with the advanced features such as proxy settings if you are not sure what they mean.

Harvey, what versions of windows and Airnav are you using.

he is using windows vista radar box 4.03

Harvey,

Make sure and install into c:\Airnav or similar, dont go into the default program files location as you then fall foul of the window virtual store.  If you have delete and re-install into the c:\Airnav.

As with anything USB, Dont attach the radarbox until the software is installed.

Hope you get it going ok.
