OpenStreetMap and Satellite: Limited to Network subscribers?

I have a RB and am running v 5.00.072. In rooting around the options I came across the OpenStreetMap and Satellite features.

When I try to download the Satellite image it returns a message that the application encountered an error: "Read Timeout"

When I try to download the OpenStreetMap I also get an error, it just says a problem was detected while downloading.

Are these features limited to Network subscribers? My subscription lapsed some time ago but I still decode live data.

Neither have worked for a while and I don't believe they will be coming back.
