Please note that due to planned server maintenance the network will be offline for a further 3 hours or so

Shame it's happened on such an "interesting" day for UK ATC!

Will other functionalities be affected or is it limited to the network only.

Perhaps this is more than a coincidence (Conspiracy Theory being started!), we couldn't possibly be seen to have a system and network that works better than NATS' could we, any comment AN, a nice little backhhander from NATS..........? (Before anyone starts berating me for libellous statements, please note my tongue is very firmly in my cheek!).

At least ours was planned.  Given that safety is or should be the uppermost consideration you would think that there would be more redundancy for failure.  While it will have been and continues to be an inconvenience for passengers and airlines, thankfully it all appears to have been handled very professionally by the controllers.

Hi Alan, perhaps AN should approach NATS with a back up plan, and offer use of our network!

Is it back on as I have just tried to get on and no network coverage?

Cheers

Just to confirm the network is back online since around 2035.  The work took a little longer than anticipated but everything is back up and running since around 2045.
