Hi Dunc,

AE071C is in database explorer as follows MS = AE071C, AR = TACTICAL, CN=N/A, AT=Tactical Code - Various F-15 Aircraft, AC=US - Air Force, AI=F15, Autoupdate = Y

If you want to make changes to what we have, change what you want and then scroll right along to the right hand side and change the autoupdate Y to N.

MENU - FILE - DATABASE EXPLORER
Select aircraft table
Enter AE071C in "Text to Find", CONDITION = IN, FIELD = MS
Edit each field, and make sure you set AUTOUPDATE field to N.

BUT, next time the USAF assign this ModeS hex code to a different aircraft, which they do regularly, you'll need to update the database again, if you know when they change it.

Hi,

Have followed the steps as described and data is changed but as soon as i close the programme and restart then its lost and reverts back to previous entry.

Settings are as follows

Photo And aircraft Auto-Populate

Download aircraft photo- ticked
Download 2 photos for each aircraft- ticked

In Database explorer

Do not update manually changed records- selected

Did you change Y to N on the aircraft record in database explorer as I advised you to do when you were changing the record?  If you dont do this the other changes are ignored.

In photo and auto-populate there you also have to untick Update Manually Changed Records

Lets take a step back.  When you say its reverted back to previous entry, is that even BEFORE you run a database update, and even BEFORE the aircraft is received again.  How long did you wait between closing ANRB and re-starting it?  Sometimes ANRB continues working in the background committing navdata database updates (from the NavData.db3-journal) after ANRB appears to have closed.

Ok,

I update the aircraft details as previously described and exit back to the main screen, I then unclick process hardware flights and then reselect to force the database to refresh.

At the end of each session of use whether it be 5 mins or 5 days when the app is opened any aircraft i modify cannot be found in the database explorer.

I.e K35R changed to K135 will revert back to K35R as will any other details changed.

Also that aircraft when tracked will appear under the Radarbox details on screen but in My Log screen as the details I enter.

Thanks to all that helped with this matter.

It has been resolved by completing a full delete/ re-install and all working fine now.
