Air nav limited range

Hi,

Airnav is now only picking up aircraft within 5 mile range, has anyone else had this type of fault ?

Does this mean the box is faulty or the aerial ?

Typical as go away and wanted to take the box !

Yes a common fault.  Static causing a fault inside the box.  Will need to go Walters and Stanton.  Contact Airnav Support and they will give you details.

Hi,
Just in case anyone suffers from this.
I sent it back for repair and the box was not faulty just the aerial, so check that before sending back.
Also if you send airnav an email you get a reply for a free repair/replacement !
This is not the case its an auto reply so beware !

make sure you have no 2.4 ghz wireless cameras near your location ,that was the cause of my problem
