does anybody have a simple solution how to start radarbox with the total empty "database" of aircraft regs and not with over 80,000 already listed after installation? Thanks in advance.

Definitely not for the faint-hearted.
Use SQLite (or similar) to manipulate the database.
http://www.sqlite.org/download.html
MAKE A COPY OF NAVDATA.DB3 DATABASE
Open Navdata.db3 in SQLite.
Execute "Delete From Aircraft" It's done..... there's no going back :-(

If you are getting started, with the data from the disk in the box. There are a number of items you should look to update. You may wish to read this forum thread.
http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=5975
We did request Airnav create a 'get you started' sticky document to explain what is available to update/add to the basic 2 year old data on the disk in the box. They have so far not taken up that idea.
The Navdata that comes on the disk is very out of date. You are strongly recommended that rather than blanking the one that comes on the disk, instead to download the latest replacement new issue here:
