Radarbox 3D
« on: August 03, 2011, 11:36:17 AM »
Hello,
I just recently bought the 3d radarbox, apart from the automatic sending
of the logfiles it works smoothly.
There is one thing i found out,if radarbox is running and i start Photoshop,
radarbox will crash
Maybe something for the developers
Greetings
Ronald

Sounds like a Win7 problem.
My Radarbox was perfect on XP - then I upgraded to Win 7 and now when I install new software as an admin RB crashes during the installation.

May Bill will sort it out in Win8

My Win 7 64 bit does the same. If I open Radarbox after Photoshop (CS5) then there are no issues. It's not a low spec machine Intel i7 CPU & 6 GB RAM.

It does it with 2d as well as 3d running.

Satbopper/Dean

Installing onto the default setting c:\programfiles\airnav casuses problems from Vista onwards due to the virtual store.  Try uninstalling and re-installing into somewhere like c:\Airnav and see if it makes a difference

Mine is installed at:

"C:\AirNav RadarBox\ANRB.exe" so unlikely to be a problem. Not even saying it's ANRB that has the fault - it could equally be Photoshop causing the issue. I can live with it but any further suggestions welcomed.

your right Dean
i did a fresh install to C:\Airnvav radarbox,i recovered the data and back online
As a ham amateur i have several programs running on my computer, together
with anrb no problem
Only Photoshop will crash anrb
So what is wisdom,is it win7,anrb or photoshop.
There is one thing sure that an install in C:\Airnvav radarbox is better
then the default install

What version of photoshop are you using? We wonder whether they are sharing something (dls, ports etc..)

CS5 64 bit - latest update but it's always done it. CS5 doesn't have anything hardware wise that the reso of the PC doesn't also use. Be happy to send any screen grabs etc etc if you tell me what & where to find it etc.
