Do the aircraft on the list panel have a globe between tracked and status?.  This indicates that they are equipped and should show.  If the dont have the globe they wont show on the map and it wont matter the age of the aircraft.

I don't know exactly what commercial traffic you get but i live near Gatwick and things like Flybe prop a/c don't give full modeS so they never show up on the map. Also many bizjets and light a/c are normally not full modeS.

If you want to see non-ADSB traffic at this time you will need something like planeplotter.
