Hi Just wondering when you are tracking  a flight, why does it dissapear then reapear, how long do they dissapear for its strange, i am tracking the Emirates A380 flight from manchester to  Dubai, goes ok then aircraft dissapears, then it appears again, just wondering,

I would imagine because it is out of radarbox coverage on occasions during the flight.

Are you talking about tracking it just on your own box, or on the network?

If it's on your own box, if you are to the east of EGCC but to the west of the Pennines, there's a bit of a "black hole" just north east of EGCC, which has been mentioned on a few other threads................
