Very interesting post. We are happy to see that ADU now works with RadarBox.

Hi romdouk

Does the ADU file contain all the fields other than reference to pictures, or is it limited in any way?

Thanks

Rich

Aerodata provide a similar Radarbox analyser. However, I would like to see the option to regularly update the NavData.db3 from an Airnav server. Yes I know an SBS box does not come with such an option but a major selling point is that the Radarbox comes with a database included. When can we expect an announcement AirNav?

The Aerodata/Radarbox  analyser is purely a method of automatically reviewing the aircraft in "MyFlights" against those that either have not been seen before, either as new "frames" or new identities.

It doesn't in any way give a direct data load into a NavData file, or update accordingly - it is however very useful to give a quick reference to reg and type of aircraft not in your NavData db,providing the're in the Aerodata db

The file specifically provided on Aerodatas web site specifically for use to populate SBS doesn't contain all the required fields for NavData

Thanks for that info Rich. But the question still remains..... when are we going to get the AirNav db update facility? I know this is an on going saga with much good work being done by a group of volunteers. For me, this ongoing weakness spoils what is an outstanding product.
