Remind me please....
« on: December 13, 2010, 12:46:02 PM »
This past couple of days my RB insists on opening with no interface and showing a bizarre chunk of map, obliging me to re-set things to my default and preferred settings on every occasion. Colour settings are OK though.

All the right boxes are ticked, the right maps saved etc etc ,in fact nothing has changed AFAIK but the prog. seems to have developed a mind of its own.

I've obviously forgotten/overlooked something....

For the bizarre chunk of map, you may have overwritten the default map.

Haven't got my box on so can't look at the exact dropdown menus and titles but it will be something similar to this.

Look at the 'set map as' dropdown and select default.  If it still displays that bizarre chunk of airspace, you have found that issue.  Simply put your map to the bit of airspace you desire and then save map as 'Default' overwritting the previous file.

many thanks for the reply ACW but sadly no cigar - my maps all saved properly and a quick click on the "default" button restores my usual.

It's something to do with the prog. not remembering the closing settings.

MENU - WINDOW - RECORD DESKTOP should do it for you.

Bullseye Tarbat.

I never remember doing that in the past!?! Hence the thread title I suppose.

Thanks
