Anything else happened at those times? Recorder does have a bug so it does cause an issue on some computers.

No, it locks up when I'm not using the PC, I come back to it and find ANRB unresponsive, and it white-screens as soon as I click in it's window.  It does seem to happen when the volume of aircraft traffic is very low, or even when there's no aircraft at all (eg. overnight).

Just check whether you don't have sleep mode enabled or power saving for USB devices. It might be nodding off to sleep when its quiet :)

I'd already checked power saving on USB is off.  And no sleep mode either.  ANRB locked-up both times with nothing else running other than all the normal "rubbish" that runs automatically in Windows Vista.

anrb.elf file is over 2 weeks old, so no diagnostics there.

Worth checking to see when your AV software runs a full system scan. Mine was scheduled for 2.00 am today and minimised the RB when it started ! When I checked first thing this morning the program had hung up as the AV program had been waiting for 3 or 4 hours for me to click 'OK' !

One sure-fire way of getting ANRB to lockup is to minimise it.  I started up ANRB about an hour ago, minimised it, and now it's locked up again.

I found that out when I wanted to look at something else on screen and did the same but it dosent seem to do it every time :-(

Yes that happens here also.

Had ANRB running on my laptop nearly all weekend with no problems. I just let it get on with it.

Even tried recorder and that worked!!!

But on another machine this morning when looking at something else it froze.

Other than that it seems to be ok at this end
