TOM 73T Squawk 7700
« on: May 28, 2010, 09:55:48 AM »
I received a Squawkbox 7700 alert at approx 10.45am. It was Detling VOR area and suddenly dissapeared from my Radar screen. No timeout, just vanished! It's now Squawking again, 10.54am.

Looks like it went (diverted?) into Gatwick.  In all probability a passenger medical emergency, that's what almost all 7700 squawks are for.

Any idea where the aircraft departed from because it wasn't showing a route?
