Nice bit of lift at present.....
« on: March 18, 2010, 08:54:09 AM »
Has anyone alse noticed the nice bit of lift during the past 18 hours or so?

Here in the East Midlands both yesterday evening and this morning my maximum polar ranges to the west and, in particular, to the south east have been up by almost 5% .

At time of writing conditions continue to be very good and it's a very satisfying experience to see new maximum range records occurring.

I notice a definite improvement in VHF/UHF comms range yesterday and today.

Conditions seem to have reverted to normal again now. Pity, I was enjoying that although the charts suggest another lift tomorrow.

Yep - that's the one. Seems to be pretty reliable for 1090.
