Interesting Equipment....
« on: December 23, 2009, 09:07:29 PM »
Just plotted Heading North East, surrently abeam of Paris CDG is BER933G, registration DABKH.

Looking at the accompanying photo, it's being operated by a Lufthansa B727-200 !

Obviously a registration being re-used, but it made me smile....especially as I've flown on that Lufthansa B727 many years ago !

The best one I had recently was in Vegas. A Papillon Helicopters sightseeing AS350 Squirrel N891PA, plying its trade at low level up and down the Vegas strip, whilst showing on my box with its previous identity, as a Pan Am B707-300.

:-)

Saw this recently, It should be an A332 (recently delivered to QANTAS) not a 742, but hey, makes things interesting! :o)
Was 32 NM SSW of YPPH.......where the sun shines.
Previously 31NM NNW of EGCC....where it didn't shine!
Now back near EGCC, Oh, how I miss the sun!!!

Yes, B742 VH-EBM left the Qantas fleet nearly 20 years ago ...

The good news is that a permanent fix to the aircraft misidentification issue isn't far away now - watch this space !
