question
« on: December 18, 2009, 08:10:48 PM »
First off all hello to everyone on this forum.
My name is levi and i live in the netherlands

i visit this forum some time's now for i was plannig to buy a radar box.
The reason i have not done it allready was to see how the RB and his software was evolving.
Now i think the time is right for me to buy one, main reason is the annoucing of the 3D option.
only have a few question
1. will the 3d function work on the existing RB or will there a complete new box for this.

2. Now there is a realtime network function, is this free for RB users or will this be charged, i mean i know  the network option is not free but when you order this option is this realtime without delay or is this a extra option .

Gr. Levi

Hi Levi, I'm still on my "free" network sub. and only get the 5 min. delayed, so would assume, you have to pay extra for real-time, if when the "free" sub. expires, I have to pay for Network and the R/T Network, i certainly won't renew, probably won't anyway, as I don't use the network that much, usually only when nothing local showing!
ANRB :  AOR AR8000 : Icom R-7000 : Icom IC-R9000 : JRC NRD-545 : OptoElectronics Digital Scout and OptoLinx Interface; Realistic Pro-2005 : UBC 800XLT - listed in alphabetical order, not cost, preference, performance or entertainment value!

Hi Levi

You won't need a different box - the one you buy today will be the one that will work with 3D - I know - I'm beta-testing 3D now!

The 5-minute delayed network is a charged option (but free for the first year) and the real-time network is an extra-charge option.

Hope that helps.

ok thnx for the reply

i know you have to pay for the network but what i mean is when you subscribe. for the network, is this then without the delay or is this a extra option on top of the sub. to the network.
Let's say the network sub. cost's 59.00 euro, is this realtime or not.
sorry for asking but i'm a bit confused because the price for a sub. to the network is on the main page but in the forum i read that the price for RT. network is not known yet.
