I am currently picking up on the AirNav network Mode S 383F5A, with flight ID DLH38F1, currently in southern France at 20,000ft.

According to Airframes.org this is F-WWSH, an A380.

Is this the first DLH A380 on a test flight/first flight?

D-AIMA is c/n 38, so with the flight ID DLH38F1, I suspect it is this aircraft.

I'm afraid no. By remark on AiB intranet 1st flight of A380 Luthansa was yesterday (07.10.09). Next - Airbus use call sign as AIBxxxy, where xxx are last three digits of MSN and y is letter from A on as counter of flight under AiB responsibility. Of course, except test and "display" aircraft.

Yes, it was indeed.

See www.flickr.com/photos/christophe-ramos/3987511587/ for a great picture of it on its first flight, Tuesday 6th October.
