Timing Out
« on: October 01, 2009, 03:49:13 PM »
I have up dated and also subscribed to Real-Time.
The network flights time out (turn white) after a minute or so and the computer locks up and I have to re-boot. I know I am on a fairly old machine but the RB is now unusable.
Help please.

Whats you computer specs? if we recall I think you have P4 machine.

If so its going to struggle to cope. There is little magic we can do with the software to get around that.

Well remembered!
Not a big problem as a new computer is ready for me at work.
I think this machine is inside the spec you name.

If I only look at Myflights will that reduce the load on the machine?

Moved the program onto my laptop and all is well there.
If one goes to full screen, how can you zoom in and out without a mouse?

There is another anrb.exe on the '30 second' thread - I'll get the link in a minute.

Seems that the full install contained an earlier beta.  I've just downloaded the correct one and I'm now on a 20 sec update.

Here it is:

We apologize for this problem.
For users that subscribed the real-time network pls download an updated exe that was not included in the main installer (it is now there):
http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/anrb/beta/anrb.exe

Pls confirm all Ok with this new exe.

I'm not sure that the 'Full Install' package includes the '20 sec' exe, unless AirNav have updated the install.

The exe is only approx 2Mb as opposed to the 100Mb plus full install.

I think Airnav indicated that they had updated the full install package, but it wasn't that certain a statement.
