Jersey flights
« on: September 18, 2009, 10:57:21 PM »
There is probably a very obvious answer to this but I hear on VHF flights using 'Jersey' in their callsign but I see no Jersey airline in the database and they do not register in Myflights. Is it Jersey Airlines?
Jeremy.

Jersey is the callsign for FlyBE.  The reason for the callsign is that back in the 80's and 90's the airline was named Jersey European Airways.

FYI, Airframes.org's airline name search will also retrieve callsigns, so a search for JERSEY picks up FlyBE.

Jeremy - if you enter JERSEY in the Name field (circled below) it gives these results - BEE is the Flight ID.
