Antenna alternatives available in USA (?)

Hi Folks -

I would love to get one of those DPD Productions 1090mhz antennas; but at 57 inches (145cm) tall, it's too big for my apartment location. 

The maximum height I can reasonably accommodate is about 45 inches (115cm). 

Does anyone have suggestions for low to moderately-priced (<US $100) alternatives?

I'll be in the US next month and would pick it up then.
