It would appear that with effect from 31/08/09, that SkyEurope has gone bust. All aircraft are now at their base in Bratislava and their website is taking no bookings and advising customers to contact their travel company or credit card company for refunds.

I guess Ryanair can remove the 'Bye Bye Sky Europe' logo from its aircraft now and replace it with another airline.

The word is that Wizzair are increasing their flights to certain destinations to take over the lost SkyEurope business.

I wish Wizz would come to EGNX, not likely with Ryanair in residence.
