Hello all,just got my radarbox last night,wow what a gadget,love it,but as im new to it is there any tips i could do with knowing,setting up preferences and such,maybe best refresh rate!

All tips welcome and hello to you all.

Oh one thing is,i was connected to the internet at this time,but it seemed to have prblems showing photos of aircraft,it said downloading,and when hovering with mouse over where the picture should be it said the copyright info but no photo was there.

Hi Gary,

I am rather new to this myself.

So far I have customized just a few of the settings in the preference menu like map colors and label display, all other settings are on their default and seem to work fine so far. However, you might want to check the values of QNH and Timeout to best meet your local conditions. All other things will get your detailled focus as you come across them when using the app.

Other than that, I would recommend to just take your time to browse through the forum. Be sure to check the support documents, online help manual and videos linked in this post:

Best way is to play with the kit and see what you can find. Any problems or not sure of something give this forum a search or post a question.

There is a wealth of experience and everybody is willing to help.
