Europe Coverage on Network
« on: October 28, 2007, 10:04:37 PM »
Good News for our European Users.

As per the Screen Shot you can see that with the ever increasing number of RadarBox users we have, at the time this post is being written, almost complete coverage of Western Europe with AirNav RadarBox Network.

With a few more users in Spain and Italy (we will have articles in major magazines there soon) we will have complete coverage of the european skies.

Now let's look for the Middle East (Dubai), Singapore, Japan and Australia.

US based users already have a complete flight tracking coverage of their entire airspace with our "AirNav Live Flight Tracker" software (that receives real-time flight information from the FAA Radar Servers)

Would this be the reason for slow take-up in the USA?

How about feeding the "Airnav Live Flight Tracker" data for USA into the RB Network ?

DaveG,

That is one of the major reasons, others such as ADS-B is less used in American at the moment but it is growing.

Regarding feeding Live Tracker into RB we have already had requests about this and it could be a added in the future. Keep posted to forums for more :)

Perhaps it would be an idea to develop a special program for Airnav users that share data 24/7. The current hours for hours program is not an effective motivator.

Hi Doro,

Not sure exactly what you mean? Most of our customers share the data if they are connected to the internet as it has no affect on there internet speed or proccessing power.

Those who share nearly 24/7, provide the availability we are looking for. Not just coverange but also continuity is important. Currently there is no differentiation in 'reward' in hours between those that share now and then and those that share almost 24/7.

Think you're talking about the Account "User Report" on the login screen, if you are disregard those figures as the system is not using them.

No no, I mean their should be a 'reward' system for those that share data 24/7.
