There's a mistake in the enthusiast side. You are advertising RadarBox as "the world's best selling and most advanced Real Time Virtual Radar". But of course it isn't real time for enthusiasts any more, is it?

Mine is real-time.  Just seen an aircraft fly overhead, and it appeared on the screen in real-time.

It is real time and very accurate. Only network tracking outside your pickup range is 5 min delay

Of course it is real time. You are seeing the aircraft displayed on the screen as Live.

Not sure what you trying to imply Viking9.

What on earth gave you that idea?  Everything picked by the antenna is live, real time, at it happens and as it has always been :-)  The shared Network data is delayed by 5 minutes - as it has always been.  The only change in V3.0 Beta is to reinstate the 5 minute delay to the port 30003 data.

I thought that they were introducing a 5 minute delay for local traffic for non-professionals.

Tom - what they've introduced is a no-delay network system for professionals. The RadarBox is unchanged for local flights (live) and for non-professional network users (5 min delay).

Rod,

Many thanks for the clarification. I must be getting old :o)

And of course my apologies to the AirNav team for the misunderstanding on my part.

Hi All,

I totaly agree Support! When an aircraft comes overhead and I can see it with the naked eye it is on exactly the same time on the same position on my RB-screen.

On the original subject Airnav, I had a look at the new front page and I think it is a big improvement, much clearer for a first time visitor at least.
