« on: April 14, 2009, 06:00:11 PM »
Does anyone have a source for the NOTAM's as I suspect there should be one of interest for Wednesday 15/4
Purple corridor - London to Aberdeen....
Royal flight  as Charles and Camilla are due to attend the memorial service in Aberdeen.
Wonder if they will use Commercial of a Royal Flight Helicopter??

NATS seems to have errors on it's links!!! to the Notams area.
Based in Hexham - Tyne Valley
Best view for RB is North of a line between EGNT and EGNC  - includes OTA and Spade, to EGPH above 7500ft.   Can be TRUE mobile with Mobile Broadband feed to Network.

A tenner on Royal Flight!
ANRB :  AOR AR8000 : Icom R-7000 : Icom IC-R9000 : JRC NRD-545 : OptoElectronics Digital Scout and OptoLinx Interface; Realistic Pro-2005 : UBC 800XLT - listed in alphabetical order, not cost, preference, performance or entertainment value!

AIS site NOTAMS working OK for me.

Royal Flights are not advertised as such and the old method of establishing a purple airway was discarded some years ago. Normal method now is to establish a temporary Class A airspace without mention of a Royal Flight. I've searched on Class A but can find nothing.
