Is the 'RADARAMA BASE ANTENNA FOR AIRNAV RADARBOX AND KINETIC AVIONICS SBS-1'
a good antenna to stick on a 10ft pole? any differences between this ans the radar extender?
Thanks
John

Hi

I have the SSEJIM attenna. Attached to side of the hose on barge boards sticking over the roof.  I have a with a 15m run of low loss coax.  (The Westflex cable was going to be used. But was given cable from friend that was surplus to a microwave system he put in).

I get about 75 miles to the N,S,W.  East approx 110miles according to my polar map.  With a few spikes.  I'm 10miles SW of LHR and one of the spikes goes out to the Atlantic just South of  Ireland.
