software slow to start up

morning all,

my anrb is very slow to start up, it is running on a netbook with an atom 1.7 processor with 1gb of ram. this morning it took nearly 10 mins to load up. any ideas why? how can i get it to start quicker.

Les,

If you have antivirus running you will need to set up an exception for radar box, here is how you do it for AVG.

Go to Tools -> Advanced Settings -> Execptions (under Resident Sheild) -> Add path -> Enter your path to AirNav Systems which is usually:

C:\Program Files\AirNav Systems\

(Location may be differen if using Vista)
