Weather Reports
« on: January 18, 2009, 09:39:17 PM »
Hi Guys,

I have been wondering why the map freezes every so often with obviously no movement of aircraft on my flights and have just noticed that it seems to happen when the RB contacts the server for weather information which it seems to do with annoying regularity. Is there anyway of switching off this facility or could development perhaps build into the system the option of contacting the server for weather information. That way we would have some control over this. Having said that I am using Vista therefore is it a Vista thing?

Cheers

The weather check is usually very quick, it only downloads a few lines of text however at the moment our server is on the blink causing a few things to slow or go offline.

Bear with us and the server should be back to normal soon and you should not see the delay.
