Moving the Home locator on the map

was trying to move my home locator on the map and it has gone about 100 miles from where it should be and I don't seem able to shift it to the correct position. Can one of you kind gents help.

Have you set your location in the preferences?

Yes I tried to change it using the preference settings but it has gone south.I am in stone staffs,and I tried using the long/lat settings but the intended location went haywire.

Should be something like:
Latitude : 52.90
Longitude : -2.15
