Holding at Leeds Bradford ?
« on: August 31, 2008, 07:33:03 AM »
Just having a look at the traffic around my local airport Newcastle..
happened to notice further south a 'network' contact in a holding pattern over Leeds Bradford airport - BGH5559 a Balkan Holidays A320 - been holding at 10,000ft for about 20mins - anyone familiar with Leeds approaches - wouldn't have thought this would be normal- just curious

I'm in Leeds, just 6 miles from Leeds Bradford and it was very misty earlier this morning. Leeds Bradford is very prone to poor visibility conditions and it can get very interesting when the fog descends, with 3 or more aircraft stacked above the airport.
