Erroneous Data from Dump1090 Web Server?

I'm scraping data from Dump1090's built-in web server using the Firefox headless browser. I find that I often get erroneous ICAO IDs such as 2E039F or 0E9B2B. Most of the erroneous IDs start with 2E or 0E. These IDs don't show up on the Firefox graphic display of the Dump1090 web page. Are these erroneous IDs a strange artifact of the way I'm getting the data, or is Dump1090 actually producing bogus IDs?

I would think these are codes being picked up by your receiver.  No idea where you are located but they can be coming from any number of sources and the fact they are not showing on the map would indicate they dont give off positional information. With no other information I can only suggest that some sort of ground vehicles is producing them or they are corrupt packets

Thanks! Several of the reports have position reports that put them at local airports. But I thought that airport ground vehicles would be assigned ICAO IDs starting with "A", as almost all US-registered aircraft are.

I can only assume that the vehicles are miscoded similar to miscoded aircraft

I've seen a miscoded aircraft here and there, but I'm seeing too many of them. It would have to be a "coordinated" mis-coding. Right now I'm tracking one of these strange IDs, 0EA2E1, that claims to be traveling 500+ knots over the Chesapeake Bay. The position report is changing consistent with the claimed speed. Neither RadarBox nor FR24 has any data on this ID.

Either a miscode, or a routine use of special IDs by the military that RadarBox and FR24 know that they shouldn't display.

Its a deliberate miscode designed to avoid identification and is possibly tactical, changing each flight

No conspicricy theories either, its myself that updates the d/b so ass I dont have the details its not in
