Cosmoc,

I don't really understand your comment about the coverage of the airport being better with the closest city selected as home.  As I said below, the performance of your RadarBox is unaffected by what you put in as home, it only affects how the map is displayed and you can drag that around anyway.

Have fun :-)

Maybe the Log and Lat of the "nearest City" is closer to the local airport than his "home" locatiojn. Surely that would make any map appear to cover the airport better with the "City" location than the "home" location.  :-)

Cosmoc,  how about giving us a clue here as to what you mean?

We're all guessing now :-)

hi all
i have since fixed the range problem and i am now getting a better coverage of the airport from my actual location. what i was experiencing before was that when i set my home location to my closest city which is sydney, my pola diagram would go over sydney airport. Where when i set it to my actual location the pola diagram did not go over sydney airport. when i set the pola diagram to sydney i could see the aircraft right the way down to landing where when i set the home location to my actual location i saw the aircraft to 2500ft. sydney is closer to the airport than me so that gave the better coverage! thanks for all the people who went to the troble of helping me:-):-) thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whether the ATC boxes (Transponders) are connected to Wieght on Ground switches is a customer option.  I would expect more to keep on as the plan is for vehicles the use the runway to have Mode s fitted.
