firmware upgrade

Good evening Group,
I ' ve found on the Forum: Firmware upgrade and version 6.000....2 for airnav radarbox.It's worth? Could i damage receiver if upgrade firmware?

Version 6 will work OK with Radarboxes but the only change is that it is designed to allow USB sticks to work with it.  There is otherwise no improvement with it over 5.00.72.
