Hi There can anyone answer this fo me. I am listening to East midlands Airport weather on my icom Radio. can you tell me what he meens when he says runway wet wet wet,
is Runway spilt into three sections hope someone can help me. Tony

Yes,
Touch down, Mid point and Stop end. It may be that the critical area is stop end when the heaviest braking is going on so it makes sense to split it up. Also most runways are not completely flat so puddles in dips can occur :-)

Also some runways are grooved to increase traction and braking, so the puddles accumulate there also. The idea being that the traction is not decreased though as the water is below the surface level and the aircraft tyres should miss it.
