Number of flights showing

Hi all, I see on the network at 2100Z, there's still 1500 flights showing, when just 3 or 4 years ago, it would be a couple of hundred on a good night, and there's regularly well over 2000 during the day-time, what's the next milestone 2500 or 3000?

Because of RB24.com we are significantly growing our network with over 300 permanent sharers (both non-RadarBox units) added in the last month. We are adding new units at a rate of 2-3 per day so expect the network to grow in the medium term.
As an example today we've processed the addition of new receivers in Algeria, Alaska, Guatemala, several US locations. Follow new additions at

Has anyone else noticed a significant drop in numbers of aircraft showing on the network, it's been getting as high as 2200, but only got to around the 1300 mark today - any explanations welcome AN Dev or anyone else.

Thanks you Alan, that would account for the drop.
