Paul,

Are entering in decimal.  Google earth is very good to ensure you get it correct

I never found that to work Paul, give the method I suggest a try and see what happens.  Google earth takes you right to your location.

I presume you downloaded and installed the 64bit drivers from the support website if you have 64bit Windows 8

Paul,

Have you had the box working and displaying info on the screen with your new system? If not, your correct location info is not an issue at the moment. Also, just having the 64bit drivers is not enough in itself.

Follow the instructions in this link: http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=7420.0

Yesterday I installed Radarbox on a new Windows 8 Laptop, a right frig around but got it working in the end, why AirNav can't put any more info on the website support pages surprises me, instead it is burried in the forum Pages. Have Fun !!

Cheers

Yes 64bit drivers installed and starts ok but keeps saying hardware not connected and there don't seam to be any drivers installed for the USB port that it's plugged in to

Paul,

You have followed the following Windows 8 advice

.From the Metro Start Screen, open Settings (move your mouse to the bottom-right-corner of the screen and wait for the pop-out bar to appear, then click the Gear icon).
2.Click ‘Change PC Settings’.
3.Click ‘General’.
4.Scroll down, and click ‘Restart now’ under ‘Advanced startup’.
5.Click ‘Troubleshoot’.
6.Click ‘Advanced Options’
7.Click ‘Startup Settings’
8.Click Restart.
9.When Win8 restarts type the number next to "Disable driver signature enforcement"

If still not working are you connected to the computer via a USB hub or direct to the computer.  If via a hub try direct to the computer.  You may also require to have a look at your device manager for the USB ports to see if you require to change something.  If still nothing have a look at your USB cable it may be knackered.
