RADARBOX ALERT HELP
«
on:

I have noticed that the radarbox on screen alert only appears once for a flight and not each time it appears
is there anyway to alter this to every time it appears can anybody help me?

This is a problem that AirNav knows about. You wouldn't want an alert every time a flight reappears from behind a tree, so we're hoping that in a future version, users will be able to set their own time after which a new alert will be triggered for a flight.

Hi Hungerford1
As Rod says Airnav are aware of this and a change request was made for the next issue. In short if you detect an aircraft say landing and want to detect it say an hour later taking off you have to powerdown to reset the alerts.

Hello Brian
You do not actually have to shut down ANRB, but just click the "clear Alert log" button in the alert tab.
We do this the whole time once we know the aircraft is no longer meeting our alert conditions.

Hi Andrew
You may be right but when i first raised the issue i can't remember the exact details but i was sure the clear alert log did not resolve the problem but i may be wrong.

Rather than restarting Rbox I find that by clearing the Alerts Log and then unticking and reticking Process Hardware Flights resets the alerts.

Easy to test just enter an aircraft from your screen into your alerts list, reprocess you hardeware flights, alert comes up, clear the alerts log reprocess again and the alert comes up again.
