At present i've got radar box running plus Flightradar 24 and i'm picking up more aircraft in the Miami area on the free programme than radar box. I understood they got there info from people using radar boxes within that location, so would have expected possibly more on RadarBox.

As you are in Miami for the US airspace we would highly suggest you to use the "AirNav Live Flight Tracker 8" software as it is directly connected to the FAA radar system and you will track every single IFR aircraft flying in your area.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was something I asked you about possible 2 years ago.

Is the data from Radarbox network displayed on Flight Tracker?  If not why not?
Reading the webpage it says "United States ASDI and RadarBox Worldwide Mode-s/ADS-B Network", so I guess RB Network supplied Flight Tracker, why not the other way around?

So shared RB network data is being given by RB users for free to be resold to RB Network users, and then double sold to those that want Flight Tracker?  Have I got that correct?

One other question, save me installing demo.  Is the data really "live" or is there a delay?

And final question to clarify, if purchasing the worldwide edition, will this display all of the USA FAA data and the Radbox networked data?

That is correct world wide edition contains the FAA data and RadarBox network data (delayed only). The FAA data is delayed, the FAA data is only Live to sources who have been approved (Air Traffic agencies etc..), to save the confusion the RB data in Live Flight Tracker is also delayed.

It has been a long term plan to include as much data as possible into RadarBox. However there have been technical limitations which hasn't allowed this so far (e.g the network data going from 1.5k flights to over 10k can cause instability and pressure on the RB software on slower machines)

I'm not in Miami i'm in the UK. The position of the aircraft are different between the two programmes and have noticed that on delayed network the flightradar is more correct on position of aircraft. This was checked by being informed of the correct time a selected flight landed and the position of the aircraft showing on both programmes.

The delayed network is probably the reason for the mismatch. They might be using sources which aren't delayed.

Thank's for the reply, that's what i thought but couldn't think where they got the info from as i understood it came from AirNav uses or similar, but does appear to be in real time, although they show aircraft that's not showing on AirNav when in the same location. Example, Looking at Florida to locate a certain flight AirNav was showing 3 aircraft Flightradar showing 22.

Thats a question for them not us I am afraid, best to ask them. Regarding our network wee show on the network what is picked up by sharing RadarBoxes.

What i can't understand is if there are 22 aircraft in a relative small area why did the sharing AirNav box only pick up 3 aircraft?  Just curious as i don't know what info American  aircraft transmits that AirNav box requires to locate them.

It depends how close the box is to that location, it could have been far away hence then only picking up the overflying aircraft above 20,000ft feet whereas a Box closeby to the location could see an aircraft down to the ground.
