Network squawk missing?
« on: June 26, 2011, 10:00:42 AM »
Hello

Has anyone else noticed that no network flight have had squawks recently or is this just a problem with my system. Hardware flights are unaffected. This is not serious for me but I used to like getting the 7700 etc alerts.

Thank you

Andrew

Hello Alan

Thanks for the reply. Could this be a flight that has been in your range previously on that flight as when I checked 5 minutes ago we had one Icelandair on network with a squawk and it had just gone out of our range.

I wonder if this is something to do with the upgraded server software?

I think you're on to something there, Andrew. I've only got a few network squawks, and they are all from aircraft that would hve been in MyFlights earlier.

Definitely a problem there.

As EK01, 1690 ac showing on network, not a single squawk showing, 44 showing in My Flights, every single one showing its squawk - definitely something adrift with the network program.

We are already working on this. We've just uploaded a new version of the server software and will check results for the next 24 hours.

From the first checks this problem seems to be corrected. Anyway we will continue to test it during the next 24 hours.

Network squawks seem fine now. I wonder why no TAM Airbuses show squawks...?

Hi AN Dev, like Andrew and Rod, squawks now working fine on network traffic as well - a few gaps as always.  Many thanks for the prompt attention and replies in here - just hoping the network is now as stable as you (and we) hope.  What was the problem with the squawks, if you're allowed to tell us.

Tks for your words. The network seems to be 100% stable now. New software performing great with less than 0.5 secs to process 10 secs of data. Work will continue to improve the system when necessary.
