Of course Air France do not operate B773, they only have B772 and B77W and also the Lufthansa Cargo MD11 operate using the GEC callsign not the DLH callsign

Exactly, given that there is no B77W in the models folder and and DLH dont have MD'11's I would think that this will be a reason why some models dont show a livery.

The B77W is a big omission.

I have asked Airnav if it would be OK to create a  B77W folder in the GE Models folder and move the Air France B773 livery to it but I have not received and answer.  As they havent answered I created a B77W folder and moved the Emirates B773 livery into it.  I will find out at lunchtime when the daily flight arrives into Glasgow whether it will work or not,

Rashers, still waiting for an answer to try and assist.

Agreed there were and continues to be alot of omissions from the 3D release models.  We still don't know who supplied the details as to which operators to include against the various codes and why some non-ICAO codes were chosen.  I am surprised this wasn't picked up during testing and wonder how this got signed off when alot of them were wrong.  Another great example alongside the B773 example is operators of Avro RJ like SWR and BEL having the liveries allocated against B462 and B463 in the 3D software.  They do not operate 146-200 or 146-300 only Avro RJ.

Your changeover to a new B77W folder must have partially worked.  Previously with no B77W model folder, you would only have had the dots for every B77W picked up in 3D.  If you now got a greyed out model it proves the adding of this folder changes those dots to models, albeit greyed out with no livery.

Getting some serious thread drift here, by myself included. Shall we let this thread return to the subject of the latest Navdata release.

Posts on 3D GE Models and the reason for their non-appearence are I think better placed on this thread:

http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=5955.0

Airnav Development will be better placed to find all the info and reporting they need in one place, rather than spread across many different threads.  It also gives them one place to report the progress of their investigation and proposed fixes.
